The hospital used in the BBC's series "Sherlock Holmes" is a real hospital called St Bartholomew's Hospital, or "St Bart's" for short, and it's located at West Smithfields in London.
St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, was also the scene of the first meeting between Sherlock Holmes and Doctor John Watson in the original story of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle.
